Job Description:

In the role of Project Manager, you will plan for and ensure the quality and timeliness of activities related to the design, build and implementation of projects or programmes. Additionally, you will be expected to manage communication with senior IT and Business stakeholders to review Network services/ projects. You will participate in solution review and contribute to the implementation and closure of projects. You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized high-quality deliverables. Required:

Ensures successful planning and implementation of network development projects to timescale, cost and quality requirements

  • Manage multiple small, and medium projects or programme planning and scheduling activities
  • Monitor, document and communicate relevant information relating to projects or programme planning and scheduling activities
  • Identify improvements for project planning and scheduling activities
  • Implement strategy and standards and manage the team for project execution and control activities
  • Monitor and communicate relevant information relating to, project or programme execution activities
  • Identify and obtain agreement for changes to project or programme baseline plans, as directed
  • Manages network services improvements and their implementation      
  • Manage the improvement activities, and be accountable for the quality and effectiveness, of the project and/or programme resources
  • Review, analyze and communicate relevant information relating to project and programme management activities
  • Coordinating field resources and activities to enable services

Monitors and reports on the quality and effectiveness of network service management and acts as a representative for customer stakeholders primarily for German stakeholders

  • Manage Network Service Review meetings (both Remote and physical meetings) with individual customer stakeholders
  • Reviews and helps identify and implement improvements to the provision of network service operations
  • Support and verify the achievement of Customer Satisfaction targets and other targets set by the management
  • Fluent German

Preferred:

  • Solid knowledge of the IT networking concepts, practices, and processes
  • 12+ Experience in implementing and/or managing large scale global enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors like Cisco/Juniper
  • Experience in managing senior Customer stakeholders – Project Managers, programme sponsors, IT and Business leaders
  • Understanding of Network Architecture and design of LAN/ WAN / Wireless network controllers and Access points, Cisco & Juniper products, Routing and Switching
